As a fresh graduate from Business Administration background and having no knowledge in the banking industry, the Management Associate Program (MAP) has provided me with comprehensive insights of the banking industry.

The objective of the program is to develop my banking skills & knowledge. The MAP is a well structured program enabling me to undergo various learning opportunities such as induction, rotation within divisions in the Bank to get hands on experience on how the divisions operate, branch or business centre attachment to learn up the operations skills, and leadership development programs to groom me as future manager capable of handling projects, leading a unit, section of a dept or division in the Bank.

In addition, I have been assigned to a coach and a mentor who are always there to give me guidance and encouragement. Not forgetting my fellow colleagues who have been so supportive during my job attachment.

The MAP offers excellent career development as well as the opportunity to achieve my personal goals, at the same time, achieving the organization mission and vision too.

Hong Leong Bank’s Management Associate Program (MAP) is an excellent platform for me to acquire imperative knowledge to develop my skills in becoming the future manager of the Bank. As an accounting graduate with little exposure in banking operation work flow, this program is a window of opportunity for me to grasp basic banking knowledge & learn the operations of various divisions in the Bank. In addition, with the full support from my colleagues & caring mentors, I am able to blend in to the working environment quickly & learn up the skills & knowledge I need to continue my learning journey in the Bank.

In today’s competitive business environment, especially in the banking industry, I need to prepare myself to overcome the many challenges in reaching my career goals. The various exposures I gained from MAP have developed a stronger person in me and I am able to face these challenges confidently & courageously.

MAP is well-structured program; it is THE program for all fresh graduates to launch their careers in the Bank.
